③Which character do you like best?

(Justification:Because Journey to the West is a well-known legend to students and almost all of them have saw the TV series about it,it is easy for them to answer the questions.)

Step 2 Reading(30 minutes)

Task 1 Work on 3a(10 minutes)

Students read the article in 3 a quickly and try to find the answers to the questions:①Which book is talked about?

②Who is the main character?

③What is he like?

The teacher guides students to read the passage with the questions and encourages them to answer the questions as soon as possible.

③He is not just any normal monkey.In fact,he sometimes does not even look like a monkey!

Task 2 Work on 3bf lo minutes)

Students read the passage again and underline the required informations to fill in the form in 3b.
